Local Community
A strong community starts with strong support.

Many of our executives also sit on the Board of Directors of several non-profit organizations. Our retail branch managers participate in youth financial training programs, food drives, elder abuse awareness programs, and many other worthwhile initiatives.
The employees of our Brea Corporate offices donated over 200 toys to the Brea Fire Department as part of the Spark of Love Toy Drive. This averages out to at least two donated gifts by each CapitalSource Bank employee. The Spark of Love Toy Drive provides toys and sports equipment to kids who might otherwise go without gifts during the holidays.
The unwrapped gifts were delivered to the Brea Fire Department and received by Fire Division Chief/Fire Marshal, Kevin Kelly. Chief Kelly and his team were especially grateful since the need for gifts was greater this year with fewer people able to donate.
